In situ — really?!

With so much beach erosion on Folly this season, it’s unusual to be able to leave a nest where Momma Turtle lays it.

But this turtle managed to pull herself through deep wrack and up a 2 foot high escarpment to lay her nest — the best spot for miles around.

There were no incoming tracks left, only about 3 strokes of outgoing, one with a good V that caught Bob’s attention.
